Take Control of Your Passwords will give you tools to analyze your current password strategy and determine if you are on the right track or need to rethink your password security. Learn about password security and see if your current password will stand the test of time and hackers or if you will be compromised within seconds.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is filled with valuable information and is easy to understand. The book defines password security and why common password strategies are frequently hacked. There is a chapter on password managers with links and recommendations. There is advice for dealing with the relative, friend, or co-worker who does not see the need for using strong passwords but frequently needs help getting their computer working again. Should you frequently change passwords? Or use the same password for all sites? Both of these questions are answered in the book along with many more.

The book is written for the end user. Most of us have a large number of passwords for web sites, social media, and other uses. This book will explain how to develop a strategy to create strong passwords, keep your information secure, and to clean up problem areas that may already exist in your passwords. It is well worth reading and I recommend it.
